Usman Mukhtar is regarded as one of the most promising actors in recent times. He shares a close bond with his mother, frequently posting pictures of them together. Interestingly, many might not know that his mother, Nasira Begum, was also a film actress during the 1960s and 1970s.
In a recent interview, Usman spoke about how his mother’s acting career influenced him. The interviewer mentioned that Nasira Begum had starred in nearly 100 to 150 films during her prime and asked Usman if she inspired him to enter the media industry. Usman responded, “No, I wasn’t inspired by her watching her work. In my childhood, I saw one of her movies where she was scolding a child, and after that, I didn’t watch any of her films. I had no intention of joining the industry because of her. I always had a passion for performing, which began in school, where I enjoyed doing mimicry. Besides, I inherited my talent from my mother. I initially got involved in theater, then filmmaking, and eventually transitioned into acting.”
