Iqbal’s educational background includes a master’s degree from Government College University, Lahore, and a diploma in History of Mass Communications from San Jose State University, California. He began his career as a reporter in 1986 and later held various positions in the private sector and as a media advisor to the Chief Minister of Punjab from 1994 to 1995.
