Javeria Saud, formerly known as Javeria Jalil, is a prominent figure in the Pakistani entertainment industry, excelling as a television actress, producer, screenwriter, singer, and host. She gained widespread recognition for her portrayal of Jameela in Geo TV’s popular drama series “Yeh Zindagi Hai” from 2008 to 2013. Javeria is married to actor Saud, and together they established the production house JJS Productions in 2006, contributing significantly to the Pakistani entertainment landscape. After taking a hiatus from acting in 2001, she made a successful comeback in 2006 and ventured into production by co-producing “Khuda Aur Muhabbat” in 2011.
Javeria’s career in the showbiz industry began in 1993 as a Naat reciter, leading to her acting debut in 1995. Over the years, she has appeared in numerous television dramas, including “Manzilein,” “Anhoni,” “Tipu Sultan: The Tiger Lord,” “Maa,” “Thori Khushi Thora Ghum,” and many more. Notably, she produced and starred in the long-running series “Yeh Zindagi Hai” in 2008. Since 2015, Javeria has been hosting the morning show “Satrangi” and Ramadan transmissions.
In 2020, she returned to acting with the soap opera “Nand,” and in 2022, she portrayed a strict Punjabi housewife in Hum TV’s Ramadan special “Paristan.” While her performance in “Paristan” received mixed reviews due to the incorrect Punjabi dialect, her role as an outspoken and cunning daughter-in-law in the soap opera “Baby Baji” in 2023 was well-received by critics and audiences alike.
On a personal note, Javeria has been happily married to actor Saud since 2005, and the couple shares two children.
