Love conquers all! Dania Shah and her husband shut down critics in new interview

Dania Shah gained prominence in Pakistan after marrying the well-known host and politician Dr. Aamir Liaquat Hussain. However, their marriage ended in divorce just three months later. Dania Shah became embroiled in controversy when she leaked a private video of her husband, Dr. Aamir Liaquat Hussain, which led to significant backlash. Tragically, Dr. Aamir Liaquat Hussain passed away following the scandal. Subsequently, Dania Shah faced legal challenges, including property disputes, in the aftermath of her husband’s death.

Recently, Dania Shah married her lawyer, Hakeem Shehzad, who supported her through all the legal battles. The couple recently sat down for an interview with Urdu Point, addressing the criticisms surrounding their relationship.

In discussion, Dania Shah’s spouse mentioned that their marriage ceremony occurred during an important event in Dania’s father’s life. Dania Shah also expressed that she was seeking a life partner and that her decision to marry Hakeem Shehzad was deliberate. Currently, they have only completed the Nikah ceremony.

Discussing Dania, her husband shared, “I accepted her case and shared a video, which led to significant backlash and trolling directed at me. People criticized me for representing her, calling her a murderer and a bad person, and using abusive language. However, I discovered that she was the complete opposite of the negative comments. She appeared to be innocent and virtuous, which ultimately led me to marry her.”

He added, “When Dania’s mother contacted me about the case, I agreed to represent her but insisted on performing the Nikah first so that I could be her support, akin to a Mehram. I did not want to treat her as just a friend in court. The prevalent friend culture has negatively impacted our society, where relationships like marriage are criticized, yet it is acceptable for celebrities to leave their homes at 4:00 am for a drama script. In Pakistan, second marriage is often viewed as a crime. I am now married to Dania Shah, marking my fourth marriage, and I openly acknowledge this fact. If it is considered a sin, then I have committed this ‘sin’ for the fourth time. In response to the critics, Dania Shah stated, “I have no response for the haters. I am content with my second marriage and wish all widows could find such a supportive husband.” The video can be viewed at the following link:
