Noor Ul Hassan is a versatile Pakistani actor, television presenter, television host, and compère. He has hosted Ramadan transmissions for PTV Home and has appeared in popular television serials such as Ishq Jalebi, Dar Si Jaati Hai Sila, Aangan, Ranjha Ranjha Kardi, and Cheekh. Born on February 25, 1971, in Lahore, Pakistan, he studied at the National College of Arts in Lahore. Hassan began his television career in the 1980s as a chorus singer and made his acting debut in the 1990s. He gained fame with the PTV quiz show Fungama in 2001 and has since appeared in various serials like Kollege Jeans, Wrong Numbers, Ab Ke Sawan Barsay, Alif Allah Aur Insaan, and Deewangi. In 2021, he played a dervish in Khuda Aur Mohabbat season 3 and portrayed Ashiq Hussain in Geo TV’s Ishq Jalebi. Recently, in March 2022, he was cast in a Turkish television series based on the life of Salahuddin Ayyubi, titled Kudüs Fatihi Selahaddin Eyyubi.
