Nowadays circumstances have led people to move from their native home town countries and travel to foreign lands As we observe the uncertainty for job holders and the high ratio of inflation in Pakistan, made people make up their minds to go to passport offices. Pakistan is having great trouble due to political and economic reasons. There was a time when living in Pakistan was relatively easy. Things were much better. I remember back 2005 and 2006 it was President Musharraf’s era when Pakistan emerged as a progressive nation. Inflation was not that much high as it is these days now. Even the ratio of corruption was also not high. Things were under control but after his Era was over Pakistan faced serious troubles. Power cuts, lack of energy resources, high rates of electricity, petrol, gas, and taxes have burdened people. Even people who are paid in Lacs cannot manage their finances. That’s the biggest reason youngsters are not interested in pursuing there anymore. Pakistan produces thousands of doctors and engineers but due to low salaries and lack of job opportunities people applying for visas of foreign lands.
My good friend who recently moved to Ireland, is a doctor and specialist as well. She told me that now she has job security a better future and healthy family life she is living. Some of my other friends too have recently got a job opportunity in Bahrain and now earning a hefty amount, they sent it to Pakistan after conversion it Bahraini dinar doubled in Pakistani rupee. Lots of professionals are leaving the country. Every year tax slabs are raisin here. Restrictions are getting tougher for taxpayers.
Not just a job but doing business is also very difficult, you cannot have business due to high inflation rates and the inflexibility of governments. The government is cooperating with the business community and this thing is also killing small businesses as well. I was at a shop buying some plastic stuff, I asked the shopkeeper why you people don’t have much stock and he told me that the buying power of locals is decreasing and there is no business so manufacturers are forced to close down their factories and workshops. Most of the people discuss the high tax slabs and no return. There is no governing body to facilitate you if you get ill or have any medical issues. There is no one to support orphans and widows in this country. The situation is getting worse for citizens. People are patriotic but without a secure job and future, no one can survive here. Corruption is another issue, corruption has just demolished the structure of the system. People are worried they will get into any court case. Police and government employees are openly asking for extra money. Whether you import or export you have to give some pennies to officials so they will clear you and then you will be able to do business here. Another reason people leave Pakistan is due to security issues, robberies are common on every street in big cities. Unemployed people get the easy path by looting citizens. Karachi is having major troubles for security reasons. With hope for betterment, I am ending this article.
